After congratulating the winners of Metro Nordic Youth Super Series, the Minnesota State High School Nordic Ski Meet, and the Minnesota SkinnySki Series, we will recognize the:
- Junior Racer of the Year
- Senior Racer of the Year
- Coach of the Year
And the evening will culminate with the naming of the 2011 MNSA Lifetime Achievement Awards.
The MNSA Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledges outstanding contributions to the development of cross-country skiing in the State of Minnesota.
This year, we will honor Bjorn Lasserud. “He has been an outstanding skier in his own right and has helped many young skiers attain their skiing goals.” writes Darby Nelson, chair of the selection committee. Join us to toast Bjorn and celebrate him as racer, mentor, and Saturday morning task-master.
